Take a Closer Look

If you already have it all figured out, this isn't the post for you.

In fact, if you're convinced you have no inherent biases—if you can't get curious about a counter argument—I am not be your ideal writing partner.

I'm here to support those who explore and evolve, every step of the way.

The big-picture thinkers who hunt their own blind spots for sport.

The ones who naturally cross-examine the origins and implications of ideas—both those of the status quo and their own—in order to build something new.

Something better.

To write a good book, you have to take a closer look. Try on different lenses. Question things you thought you knew.

Done right, the journey expands and transforms you. This helps explain why so many aspiring authors never finish, let alone publish.

Because expansion can feel like there's no ground underfoot.

Because transformations can get messy.

It’s easier to contract than expand. Easier to stay in that gooey, swirly chrysalis than to complete the transformation. To bust out, dry off, and expand those wings.

It's a delicate process, and requires skillful, author-led support.

I'm here to help. To follow your lead and encourage you. To ask questions. And yes, to poke holes in your arguments as needed.

Mainly: to hold space for both creation AND revision. To help you explore and evolve. To support every expansion and transformation along the way—until that delicious moment when you hold your book in your hands.

You’ve Got a Book in You. Let’s Get it Out.
